Jean Wilburn Dickey, age 86, died Monday, March 28, 2016 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, MS. She was born April 13, 1929 in Huntsville, AL to the late Cyris and Ollie Albison Wilburn. She was a homemaker and a member of Camp Ground Baptist Church in Water Valley, MS. Jean loved taking care of her family and enjoyed cooking, working in her yard and tending her flower and vegetable gardens.
Visitation will be held Friday, April 1, 2016 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley, MS. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 2:00 pm in the Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks with Bro. Jerry King officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery. Jean is survived by her four sons, Jim (Dreva) Dickey, Ronnie (Cindy) Dickey and David Dickey all of Water Valley, MS, and Danny (B.J.) Dickey of Pearl, MS; eleven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister and four brothers. | ||||
