Obituary

LEICESTER: Paul M. Gleason, Sr., 90, of Pleasant Street died Thursday, March 24 in St. Vincent Hospital after an illness.
His wife, Mary Lou (Morse) Gleason died in 2003. He leaves a daughter Donna "Dee" L. Gleason with whom he lived, a son Paul M. Gleason, Jr. and his wife Maryanne of Spencer, three grandchildren; Benjamin, Bridget & Christopher, a sister Priscilla Gleason of Leicester and several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by two brothers; David & Phillip Gleason and a sister Elizabeth Bathstone.
Mr. Gleason was born in Leicester, son of Clifford and Edith (Gardner) Gleason. He graduated from Leicester High School. He was a Foot Specialist for 67 years at Gleason Foot Specialist in Worcester retiring in 1997. He was very active at Greenville Baptist Church, he served as the youth director for 40 years, was a choir member and soloist for 35 years, taught Sunday School for 35 years and was the lead quartet for the "Gospel Tones". He served as a guest speaker and councilor whenever he was needed. He ran the Billy Graham Crusade in Worcester County.
The Funeral will be held Tuesday, March 29 at 11:00 AM in Greenville Baptist Church, 684 Pleasant Street, Rochdale. Burial will follow in Greenville Baptist Cemetery, Rochdale. Calling hours are Monday, March 28 from 5:00-7:00 PM in MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main Street, Leicester.In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Greenville Baptist Church Food Pantry, P.O.
