Charles Edward Waddell, age 79, died Saturday, March 19, 2016 at his home in Water Valley, MS. Born January 20, 1937 in Tate County, TN, he was the son of the late Bruce Milton and Virgie Lee Keistler Waddell.

Before his health declined, Charles was a self-employed plumber who enjoyed fishing, and loved taking care of his horses and animals. He loved spending time with his family and friends.

Visitation will be held Saturday, March 26 from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon at Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley, MS. Funeral services will follow the visitation at noon in the Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks. Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Water Valley.

Charles is survived by his daughter, Joey Simpson (Delbert) of Water Valley, MS; his son, Charles Dean Waddell of Water Valley, MS; his sister, Brenda Riley (William) of Lexington, TN; two brothers, David Waddell of Houston, TX and William Waddell (Rachel) of Carrolton, GA; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Waddell; and his brother, Wayne Waddell.
