Ruth M. (Dowd) Tebo, 81, of Worcester died Friday, March 18th in Holy Trinity Nursing Home. Her husband of 47 years, Leon A. Tebo died in 2001. She leaves a son, Dennis M. Tebo of Worcester; three daughters, Gail Tebo and Brenda Donnelly both of Worcester, and Susan Hynes of Auburn; two brothers, Francis X. Dowd of Worcester and Ronald J. Dowd of Webster; a sister Patricia Miller of Worcester; five grandchildren, Denise, Brian, Shannon, Kileigh and Erin; two great grandchildren, William and Kalli; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, William A. Dowd and two sisters, Barbara Anderson and Dorothy Feraci.
She was born in Worcester the daughter of Augustine and Aurore E. (Fontaine) Dowd. Mrs. Tebo worked at Worcester Envelope for 28 years as a machinist, retiring in 1999. Ruth loved spending time with her family and especially looked forward to their weekly card games. She was a loving mother and grandmother who will be missed dearly.
Calling hours are Tuesday, March 22nd from 10:30 AM until 12:00 PM in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue followed by her funeral service at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery.
