Boylston: Marion J. (Drew) Stark, 76, passed away on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at home surrounded by her loving family. She leaves her husband of 51 years, Robert B Stark; two daughters- Rebecca Stark of Boylston and Deborah Temple and her husband Michael of Sterling; four grandchildren- Nathan, Zachary, Devin, and Jenna; and a sister Carolyn Eidell of NH.
Marion was born in Maine, daughter of the late Melvin and Clarice (Varney) Drew. She earned a Bachelors' Degree in Education from the University of Southern Maine. She worked as an art teacher in the Dennis, Brewster and Falmouth school system. She also worked as a dispatcher for the town of Boylston for many years. She was a member of First Congregational Church in Boylston,a member of the Ladies Benevolent society & Parish Care at church and the Boylston Garden Club. She enjoyed painting, gardening, and playing with her dog, Oreo.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, March 4, 2016 from 5-7 p.m. in Nordgren Funeral Home 300 Lincoln St. Worcester. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be held on Saturday, March 5 at 10 a.m. in Pine Grove Cemetery Boylston. In lieu of flowers, donations in Marion's memory may be made to the Visiting Nurses Association, 199 Rosewood Dr, Suite 180, Danvers MA 01923.
