Joseph Robert "Bob" Serra, age 53, died at his home in Water Valley on February 10, 2016. Bob was born in Oxford, MS on August 25, 1962 to the late Ronald Serra and the late Paulette Quarles Serra Tomaras. He grew up in the Chicago area and obtained his EMT certification and worked for an emergency medical company for many years. He later moved back to Water Valley where he made his home for the last several years. Bob was of the Catholic faith.
Graveside services are planned for Friday, February 12, 2016 at Oak Hill cemetery in Water Valley, MS. Visitation will be from 1:30 until service time at the cemetery. Bro. Lynn Jones will officiate the services. Bob is survived by his step father, John Tomaras, Sr of Water Valley, MS; his step sister, Tina Tomaras of Chicago, IL; a step brother, John Tomaras; two aunts, Helen Chandler of Water Valley, MS and Fay Tidwell of Lafayette County, MS; and a host of cousins. | ||||
