Julie A. Meede, age 34, of Norton, formerly of Mansfield and Brockton passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 27, 2016.
Born in Stoughton, MA on March 25, 1981, she was a loving daughter of Brenda J. (King) Meede and Michael P. Meede both of Norton.
Julie spent her younger years living in Brockton. Her family later moved to Norton and also had resided in Mansfield for ten years.
She attended Southeastern Regional Vocational Technical High School in Easton and later attended Bristol Community College in Attleboro.
Julie was a dedicated homemaker to her cherished family and was as great of a mother as any could be. She came from a close knit family and was fortunate enough to have a second close knit family as well at Game 7 Sports Bar in Plainville where she worked as a manager and waitress for the past three years. In her spear time Julie looked forward to camping trips.
In addition to her parents, she is survived the loves of her life, her children Hailey A. Doran-Meede, Naliyah R. McDonald and Marcus D. McDonald. She was the dear sister of Michelle L. Meede and her longtime companion John Grosso of Mansfield, Kevin M. Meede and his longtime companion Ashley Gookin of Norton and Katie L. Meede of Norton. She was the cherished granddaughter of Winnifred King of Plymouth and the loving aunt of Justin, Mariah, John, Jr. and Skylee. She is also survived by many special aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Her funeral service, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Monday, February 8th at 10:00 A.M. in St. Mary’s Church, 1 Power St., Norton. Burial will follow at the Melrose Cemetery in Brockton.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, February 7th from 3:00-7:00 P.M. at the Norton Memorial Funeral home, 19 Clapp St. (Off Route 140, Taunton Ave.) Norton.
In lieu of flowers, Julie’s family has requested that donations in her memory be made to the Julie Meede Memorial Fund, care of, North Easton Savings Bank, 25 West main St., Norton, MA 02766 or the Julie’s Jewels Trust Fund, care of, Game 7 Sports Bar, 60 Man Mar Drive, Plainville, MA 02762.
