BRAIT, Robert F. of West Roxbury, and Fort Lauderdale, FL, passed peacefully on January 23, 2016, at the age of 65. Treasured husband of 25 years to Audrey (Fitzsimmons) Brait. Loving father of two devoted daughters, Kim Brait Newell of Attleboro and her husband Rob and Jennifer Brait Smith of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and her husband Chad. Cherished grandfather of Breana, Jennifer, Michael, Jillian, Alana and great grandfather of Grace. Beloved brother of Virginia Brait Larkin, Joseph Brait, Anne Marie Brait, the late John Brait and his wife Geraldine Brait, and Lucille Brait Cody. Much loved by his father in law, George J. Fitzsimmons Sr., his brother-in-law George J. Fitzsimmons, Jr and his late sister in law, Donna Crowley. Adored by many nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends and was affectionately known as UB and Bobio. He was also loved by his little dachshund, Gingersnap. He will be sorely missed by so many. Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre Street, West Roxbury, Saturday, January 30th at 8:30 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Theresa of Avila Church, West Roxbury at 10 AM.
