Louise C. (Silva) Oliveira, 90, of New Bedford, died January 23, 2016 at Brandon Woods of New Bedford.
She was the wife of the late Reinaldo A. Oliveira, Sr. and Anthony J. DePina, Sr.
Born in New Bedford the daughter of the late Candido and Andreza (Ribeiro) Silva, she had lived in New Bedford for most of her life.
She was a communicant of Our Lady of the Assumption Church.
She was a life member of the Cape Verdean American Veterans Association Ladies Auxiliary.
Survivors include her 3 sons, Anthony DePina, Jr. and his wife Carmen of Jersey City, NJ, and Moses DePina and Raymond Oliveira and his lifelong companion Paula Costa, all of New Bedford; 6 daughters, Antoinette DePina, Dianna Weathers, Anna Mae DePina Rudolph, Marion DePina and Rosemarie "Rose" Gomes and her lifelong companion Greg Pollard, all of New Bedford and Constance Livingston of Texas; 6 stepchildren, Reinaldo Oliveira, Jr. and Kenny DeGrace, both of New Bedford, Justin Gomes, Jeannie Oliveira, Robert Oliveira and Anthony "Poncho" Oliveira, all of Wareham; a daughter-in-law, Julie DePina of Quincy; a sister, Joanna Rebeiro of New Bedford; 75 grandchildren; 125 great-grandchildren; numerous great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was the mother of the late Robert Allen DePina and Frank "Joey" DePina, and sister of the late Mary Ribeiro, Albert "Smokey" Silva, Antone "Smokey" Silva, Julia Fortes, Dominga Payne.
Her Funeral will be held on Saturday, January 30th at 8 AM from the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford, followed by her Funeral Mass at Our Lady of the Assumption Church at 9 AM.
