Obituary

Vivian Louise Grasser was received into heaven where she will enjoy the glories of heaven with her Lord Jesus Christ for all of eternity on January 20, 2016 after a lengthy illness. She was born in Portsmouth, NH to the late Myron and Gertrude (Mills) Grasser on May 25, 1945. She was preceded in death by her brother, Walter and is survived by her twin sister, Velma. During her life she enjoyed the wonderful love and friendship of a number of cousins. Vivian graduated from Mass College of Pharmacy with a Bachelor of Science in Administration and Clinical Pharmacy in 1990. Vivian was employed by the Brockton Hospital as a Hospital Staff Pharmacist for 38 years until her retirement in 2007. Vivian grew up in Waltham but has resided in Taunton since 1970. Vivian has been a faithful member of Silver City Baptist Church in Taunton since 1994 and taught the Primary Sunday School Class for many years as well as serving as the church treasure. Visiting hours will be on Monday, January 25th at 11 AM at the silver City Baptist Church, 261 Tremont Street in Taunton, followed by a 12 Noon Funeral service with Pastor David Cooper Sr. presiding. Interment will follow at the Pleasant Street Cemetery in Raynham. Arrangements are under the direction of the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home in Taunton. In lieu of flowers Vivian’s requested that gifts be made to the Silver City Baptist Church Memorial Fund.
