DUDLEY - Peter Lawrence, 54, of Mason Road died Wednesday January 13, 2016 after an extended illness. At the time of his passing he was surrounded by his close friends who loved him dearly.
Peter was born in Boston, the son of Thomas and Theresa (Wittekind) Lawrence. He lived in Southbridge prior to moving to Dudley in 2011.
Each day of Pete's life was spent bringing great joy and laughter into the lives of everyone he encountered. Friends, roommates, caregivers, nurses, doctors - all were quickly won over by Pete's bright eyes, charming grin, and infectious laugh. A pint-size Hercules, Pete's immense strength and will made him an instant inspiration to everyone lucky enough to have crossed his path.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 29 at 10:00am at Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main Street, Webster. Burial will follow at Saint Joseph Garden of Peace, Webster.
