Shrewsbury - Douglas S. Porter, 89, passed away Friday, Jan 8, 2016 comfortably at the Rose Monahan Hospice Home in Worc. He is survived by his son Geoffrey, his daughter-in-law Deborah and grandsons Timothy & Daniel of Shrewsbury. Also, he is survived by his son Mark and his spouse Jean of Auburn. He was born in London England and a veteran of the Royal Air Force. He came to the U.S. in 1962 with his lovely wife Pamela (now deceased) and raised their family for many years in Northboro, MA while he worked as a regional mgr for the Guinness Harp Corp from which he retired in 1990.
A private service for family and friends will be held on Sunday, 1/17/2016 at Caffe Espresso in Worcester, MA.
