Worcester: Roberta B. Ohman, 62, passed away on Friday, December 25, 2015 in the Jewish Healthcare Center surrounded by her loving family after an illness. She leaves her parents, Robert F. and Barbara (Pattison) Ohman; a brother James Ohman; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and her beloved cats Myrtle and Sasha.
Roberta was born in Worcester and graduated from Doherty Memorial High School and Worcester Girls Trade School, where she earned her Licensed Practical Nursing Degree. She worked for over 30 years as an Licensed Practical Nurse at St. Vincent's Hospital. While Roberta loved all animals, she especially loved cats and kittens.
A calling hour will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon in Nordgren Funeral Home 300 Lincoln St. Worcester. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 noon in the funeral home. Burial will follow in All Faiths Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Worcester Animal Rescue League 139 Holden St. Worcester, MA 1606.
