Obituary

WEBSTER – Anthony J. “Tony” Moninski, Jr., 84, died Saturday, December 19, 2015 in St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester.
He leaves his wife of 22 years, Weronika (Bilska) Mroczka; four sons, David A. J. Moninski of Dudley, Retired Air Force Lt. Colonel Anthony D. J. Moninski and his wife Dr. Iliana Arellano-Moninski of Prattville, AL, Ronald A. J. Moninski of Dudley and Paul A. J. Moninski of Danielson, CT; five stepchildren, Irena, Grace, Dorothy, Wesley and Zbiegniew; four grandchildren, Isabella, Benjamin and twins Nicholas and Natalie Moninski; 11 step-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter Bella; nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and Eugene Moninski and by a sister, Leocadia Bembenek.
He was born and raised in Webster, son of Anthony J. Moninski, Sr. and Frances (Krupinski) Moninski and graduated from Bartlett Trade School. He lived in Webster and Dudley all of his life.
He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.
Mr. Moninski worked for Tupco, later Tupperware, all his life. He was first a machinist at the Auburn facility and then supervisor for many years at the North Smithfield, RI plant, retiring in 1996. He then drove delivery trucks for Garelick Farms in Franklin for 10 years.
He was a member of Saint Andrew Bobola Church in Dudley. He also belonged to the Polish American Citizens Club. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved everyone and was loved by all.
The funeral will be held Wednesday, December 23, from the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School St., with a Mass at 11:00 AM in Saint Andrew Bobola Church, 54 West Main Street, Dudley. Burial will be in St. Joseph Garden of Peace. The Webster-Dudley Veterans Council will provide the military honors. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 Tuesday, December 22, in the funeral home.
