James P. Rabidou, 60, of Worcester passed away peacefully at home on December 18th surrounded by his loving family. He leaves his wife of 39 years, Paula D. (Mercier) Rabidou; two sons, Jason J. Rabidou and his wife, Rebekah and Derek J. Rabidou; a daughter, Corrine E. Keach and her husband, Nicholas all of Worcester; two brothers, George Rabidou and his wife, Christina of Southbridge and Michael Rabidou and his wife, Susan of Oxford; a sister, Diane Souza of Oxford; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was born in Worcester, the son of George O. and Noella (Morin) Rabidou. James was a manager at Big Y Supermarket for many years, retiring in 2012. He was looking forward to meeting his first grandchild in January. James enjoyed birdwatching, gardening, photography and listening to music.
His funeral is Tuesday, December 22nd in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a service at 10:00 AM. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Calling hours are Monday, December 21st from 4:00 until 7:00 PM in the funeral home.
