Obituary

Worcester – Arthur G. Moulin of Worcester. Loving brother, father, grandfather, uncle, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Thursday after brief illness. He is survived by his wife Rita (Brazeau) Moulin, Daughter Gloria Butler (fiancé Peter Stewart) of Mt. Dessert Island, Me., sons Arthur G. Moulin Jr. (wife Linda) of York Me., Robert Moulin (wife Michelle) of Goffstown, NH. and William Moulin of Worcester. Sister Rita Durgin of Arizona, 9 Grandchildren (Matt, Britta, Laurel, Erin, Jared, Nicole, Richelle, Shelbea, and Nanette) and 7 great grandchildren (Grace, Sophie, Quinton, Emma, Evangeline, Nigel, Keegan), Step granddaughters Danette, Jean and Alena and families, many nieces and nephews. Arthur is predeceased by his brother Marcus Moulin. Arthur also had a special place in his heart for the Waskevich family (Lisa, Emily, Katherine, Sarah and Dan) and the Overlook Skilled Nursing Staff who loved and helped him immensely over the last years of his life.
Arthur was very proud of his service in the US Navy during World War II as a commander of LST 926 in the South Pacific. He was an avid skier, racquetball and tennis player with a love for jazz and the big bands of his era. Arthur worked as an engineer in the plastics industry for many years until he retired from Unitrode Corporation, Watertown, MA in 1990.
Above all, Arthur’s greatest passion was his extensive family in which he was always proud and filled with love and compassion.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, December 21, 2015 from 5:00 -7:00 p.m. in Nordgren Memorial Chapel 300 Lincoln St. Worcester. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 25 Fales St. Worcester. Burial will be at a later date.
