Cosgrove, Agnes (McKenna) of West Roxbury, passed away peacefully on December 9, 2015 at the age of 98. Beloved wife of the late Harry Cosgrove. Agnes is survived by her adoring children: Patricia Montgomery and her husband Donald of Thousand Oaks, California; Robert McKenna and his wife Diane, also of California; Beverley Riley and her husband John of West Roxbury, MA and Ronald McKenna and his wife Geri also of West Roxbury, MA. Agnes was a loving and devoted grandmother to Rachel Dixon of San Francisco, California; Constance McKenna, Sean McKenna, Jason McKenna and Julie McKenna all of California; Paula Conley of Medway, MA, Laura Godin of Natick, MA; Marc McKenna of Walpole, MA, Tricia Horan of West Roxbury, MA and Amy Boyle also of West Roxbury, MA. Agnes was preceded in death by her granddaughter Robin Mulloney. Agnes is also survived by many great-grandchildren and one great- great-grandchild.
Visiting hours will be held at the William J. Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre Street, West Roxbury on Sunday, December 13th from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Friends and relatives are all welcome. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, December 14th at 10:00 am at St. Theresa’s Church, West Roxbury, MA.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the VNA Care Network and Hospice, 254 Second Avenue, Needham, MA 02494.
