COLLINS, Nora “ Noreen” (Doyle) of West Roxbury. Born in Dromlusk, Blackwater, Kenmare, Co. Kerry Ireland. Passed away peacefully on Monday, November 30, 2015. Noreen was the wife of the late Jeremiah Collins B.F.D., whom she met and married after his service in the US Army/Korea. Devoted mother of Gerald Collins MD of Portsmouth NH, Sheila Lyons and her husband Cyril of West Roxbury, John Collins of Boston and Brendan Collins of West Roxbury. Grandmother of Julie Lyons and Kieran Lyons of West Roxbury. Noreen was the sister of the late Rita Boggia of Somerville, the late Mai Somers, James, Jack, Michael and Sheila Doyle, all of Co Kerry. Also survived by many nieces and nephews both here and in Ireland. Proud member of the Hundred Club of Massachusetts and the Irish Social Club of Boston. Noreen was born in the “Kingdom of Kerry”. She lived with her sisters in London, England, during WW2 and finally immigrated to America. Noreen raised her family, in the land that she loved, becoming one proud American. Funeral from the William J. Gormley Funeral Home 2055 Centre St. WEST ROXBURY, Friday, Dec. 4, at 9 am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Theresa Church at 10 o’clock. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8 pm. Relatives and friends invited. Interment St .Joseph Cemetery.
