Obituary

Auburn - Lorraine Primeau Richard, "The Lovely Lorraine," went to heaven on November 24, 2015. There, she reunites with her beloved husband, Jim "Mr. Wonderful" Richard, sisters Alice Bousquet, Bea Juozaitis, Eva Sullivan, and brothers Al and Louis Primeau.

Born May 30 1931, Lorraine lived most of her life in the Worcester area, except for a short time in Laconia New Hampshire. Her experience as kitchen manager for St Vincent's Hospital meant that her family party platters were always the prettiest and most delicious. Lorraine was a local candlepin champ, appearing often on Saturday TV bowling. She earned many a trophy, including one for bowling a perfect 300.

Lorraine and Jim loved to travel, play cards, laugh, and enjoy family times. There was nothing she wouldn't bet a quarter on, and you can be sure she would promptly collect. She loved cardinals, the sea, trips to Foxwoods and scratch tickets.

Left with fond memories forever in their hearts are: daughter and best friend Linda Anger with husband Gary of Worcester, daughter Francine Erickson with husband Leonard of Webster; sons John of Worcester and Stephen with his wife Lynne of Poland Springs Maine, six grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren she adored, extended family and friends.

A Celebration of Life mass will be held December 5, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes, 1290 Grafton St. Private burial will follow.

Memorial gifts can be made to New England Hospice at 190 Old Derby St., Hingham. The family is deeply grateful for the compassionate care by staff at Auburn Life Care and New England Hospice.
