Obituary

Corinne B. (Mimeault) King, 95, of Worcester, passed away Saturday, November 28th. Her husband of 49 years, George J. King, died in 1990. She leaves two sons, The Honorable Ronald W. King and his wife Elizabeth of Worcester and Bruce P. King and his wife Mary of Etna, NH; a daughter, Patricia A. King- Oberg and Gregory Parsons of Sandwich; 11 grandchildren, Brendan, Brian, Brett, Bradford, Kevin, Sarah, Stephen, William, James, Corinne, and Caroline; 12 great grandchildren; many nephews and nieces.

She was born in Fall River, the daughter of Darius and Marie (Roy) Mimeault and graduated from Roger Williams High School in Providence, RI. During World War II, Mrs. King was a payroll clerk for the Norton Company in Worcester and later worked as a hairdresser for many years. She was a longtime member of Christ the King Church and had been a member of its bowling league and the Emblem Club of Worcester. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a selfless woman who always looked out for others and will be remembered for sending cards to her family and friends.

The funeral is Wednesday, December 2nd from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, with a Mass at 10:30 A.M. in Christ the King Church, 1052 Pleasant Street. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery. Calling hours are Tuesday, December 1st from 4:00 until 7:00 P.M. in the funeral home.
