BROOKFIELD: Edward G. Fortin 49, of Conestoga Trail, died Sunday, Nov. 22 at Harrington Memorial Hospital in Southbridge.
He leaves his mother Rita E. (Hull) Fortin of Spencer, a brother Michael A. Fortin and his wife Elizabeth of Sturbridge, four sisters Deborah Johnson and her husband Paul of Atlanta, Ga., Anita Trepanier of Brookfield, Jeannette Fortin of Spencer and Laura Merwin and her husband Mike of Ware, several nieces and nephews.
Born in Worcester, he was the son of the late Armand Fortin who died in 2009. Ed was a graduate of David Prouty High School in Spencer. He was a forest fire fighter in California, he also worked as a Construction worker for many years with various companies here in Massachusetts. Ed also enjoyed working on projects with his brother at his home.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 25 at 11a.m. in the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer. Burial will follow in Brookfield Cemetery, Rte 9, Brookfield.
