Cheryl A. (Bostic) Bayliss, age 58, of Mansfield passed away on Friday, November 13, 2015 at Newton-Wellesley Hospital in Newton. She was the beloved wife of Charles E. Bayliss, II, to whom she was wed for 26 years.
Born in Quincy, MA on March 15, 1957, she was a loving daughter of the late Jessie J. and Lily M. (Lahage) Bostic. She grew up in Hanover and was a 1976 graduate of Hanover High School.
Cheryl had made her home in Mansfield for the past 26 years. She was a dedicated homemaker to her adoring family and had previously worked for Liberty Mutual in Boston.
She was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Mansfield and treasured the times spent with her family, especially vacationing together at Old Orchard Beach in Maine.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her devoted children Matthew F. Bayliss, Joshua E. Bayliss and Rachel M. Bayliss all of Mansfield. She was the dear sister of Stanley F. Bostic of Miami, Florida, Judith M. Bostic of East Bridgewater, William R. Bostic of Bridgewater and the late James “Wayne” Bostic. She is also survived by 7 nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Tuesday, November 17th from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main St., Mansfield.
Prayer services, followed by burial will be held on Wednesday, November 18th at 1:00 P.M. at the Cedar Hill Cemetery, 453 Fairfield Ave., in Hartford, CT.
