Obituary

Richard F. Brazer of Plymouth formerly of Weymouth and Hingham died peacefully on November 10th in Life Care Center of Plymouth. Richard was born in Dedham, MA. On October 14, 1933 a son of the late Richard and Gertrude (Franke) Brazer. Educated in Hingham he was a graduate of Hingham High School and Wentworth Institute he later entered the service and served proudly with the US Marines during the Korean Conflict.. He worked as an Electrical Engineer for over 40 years for High Vacuum in Hingham. Richard was active with Sacred Heart Church in Weymouth Landing and the Jaycee’s in Weymouth and was very involved in there fund raising effort. A member of the Quarter Backs Club and was a former Cub Scout leader.
He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years Grace A (Bennett) Brazer. His children Donna M. Stearns and her husband James of Boston, Michael R. Brazer and his wife Judy of Weymouth, Jay M. Brazer and his wife Barbara of Whitman and Laura L. Pushee and her husband Michael of Plymouth. Cherished grandfather of 9 and great grandfather of 2. He was the brother of the late George H. Brazer and Sally Ann Calvi.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrate on Saturday November 28th at 10:00 am in St. Peter’s Church, Plymouth. There are no visiting hours and private burial will take place in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
