In Taunton, November 6, 2015 Dorothy A. “Dot” (Swain) Izbicki wife of the late Alfred J. Izbicki died at Morton Hospital in Taunton at the age of 76. Born in Boston, Dorothy was the daughter of the late Thomas and Margaret (O’Toole) Swain. She was a graduate of the former Nazareth High School in South Boston. Dorothy was a retired mail clerk for the former Chadwick’s of Boston. She was the mother of Susan M. Izbicki of Taunton, Kathleen Mazerolle and her husband Joseph of Taunton and Thomas Izbicki and his wife Elizabeth Spinella-Izbicki of Franklin. Grandmother of Brendon and Meaghan Mazerolle of Taunton. Sister of Norman Swain and his wife Barbara of Braintree, Thomas Swain of Dorchester, Donald Swain and his wife Susan of Braintree, Gerard Swain of Florida, Carol Reilly and her husband Stephen of Braintree and the late Harold Swain, Mildred Swain, Lorraine Flannery and her surviving husband Alfred. Funeral from the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington Street in Taunton Thursday, November 12 at 11 AM. a Mass will be held at St Andrew the Apostle Church in Taunton at 12 Noon. Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 4-8 PM. Interment National Cemetery in Bourne at 2:30 PM.
