WORCESTER - Pearl Z. ((Mlodak) Kozielewicz, 89, died Tuesday, November 3, 2015 in St. Vincent Hospital after being stricken ill. Her husband of 56 years, Joseph Kozielewicz, died in 2008.
She leaves 2 sons, Henry T. Kozielewicz and his wife Kathleen of Webster and Edward J. Kozielewicz and his wife Marilyn of Anson, Maine; 3 grandchildren, Christine Drelinger and her husband Mark of Worcester, Joseph C. Kozielewicz of Timonium, MD and Andrew J. Kozielewicz of Webster; nieces and nephews in Poland and Canada.
She was born in Sieratz, Poland, one of the 6 children of Jan and Wladyslawa (Musialczyk) Mlodak. She moved briefly to Philadelphia in 1949 and then to Webster. She lived in Worcester since 1957.
Mrs. Kozielewicz was a cook at the Heywood Nursing Home for 10 years. She was a communicant of Saint Joseph Basilica in Webster. She loved working in her annual vegetable and flower garden; she enjoyed playing cards and exercising at the Worcester Senior Center. She excelled at cooking.
Funeral services were held privately. Arrangements were under the direction of Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home,. 340 School St., Webster.
