Jeffrey J. Marhefka, 44, of Worcester died Wednesday, November 4th in UMass Memorial Medical Center – University Campus. He leaves two daughters, Kayla Marhefka of Worcester and Sara Marhefka of Dudley; his mother, Donna (Popowicz) Marhefka of Worcester; his father, Walter F. Marhefka Sr. of Clinton; the love of his life, Carolina Estefania Vasques of Worcester; five brothers, Walter F. Marhefka, Jr. of North Brookfield; Dennis P. Marhefka of Gilford, NH, Jason T. Marhefka of Oxford, Derek A. Marhefka of Spencer and Jamie Johnston of Clinton; two sisters, Lisa Peloquin of Putnam, CT and Stacy Anne Marhefka of Rutland; four granddaughters, Haidynn, Kennedy, Brenna and Braelynn; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Jeffrey was born in Worcester. He loved fishing and scratch tickets. Jeffrey was a hard worker and master builder who taught everyone what he knew. He would give the shirt off his back to anyone and if he didn’t have one he would find one. He touched many lives over the years and will be missed greatly by many.
Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, November 7th from 8:00 until 10:00 AM in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue followed by his funeral Mass at 10:30 AM in Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main Street. Please omit flowers.
