Obituary

David Alan Dean, age 50, of Plymouth died unexpectedly on Nov.2, 2015 at the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Plymouth. He was the devoted husband of Bernadette Marie (Pimental) Dean of Plymouth. Born in Plymouth on Sept. 11, 1965, he was a son of Warren R. Dean and Judith Ann (Guidetti) Dean. He was educated at South Shore Vocational Technical High School. For most of his life David worked as a Union Carpenter with local 624. He also had worked as a truck driver for Hingham Lumber. A lifelong Plymouth resident, David was an avid runner. He enjoyed hiking and had hiked to the top of Mt. Washington. He was a member of the Seaside Club, liked working in his garden and being outdoors. Besides leaving his beloved wife “Bernie”, his father Warren of Carver and his mother Judith of Chandler, AZ, he was the loving father of Taylor Dean and Cody Dean both of Plymouth. He was the cherished brother of Steven Dean and his wife Christine of Kingston and Shelly Lapsley and her husband Stephen of Plymouth. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Visiting hours will be held in the Davis Funeral & Cremation home, 619 State Rd., Plymouth (Manomet) on Thursday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. The funeral will take place on Friday morning at 9:15 from the Davis Funeral & Cremation Home at 9:15 followed by a Mass of Christian burial in St. Bonaventure’s Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Plymouth.
