Elaine T. Solomon, 53, of Worcester passed away on Friday, October 30th in UMass Memorial Medical Center - University Campus from a long illness. She was born in Milo, Maine. She is survived by her mother, Mary Thorpe; two daughters, Stephanie Solomon and Jessica Tight; a son, Joseph Solomon all of Worcester; 11 grandchildren, Jacob and Jeffrey Murphy, Anthony, Christopher, Sophia and Tyson Henry, Benjamin Kelly, June, Joseph, Banjo and Clara Solomon. She also had eight sisters, Karen Cuthbertson, Marsha Bombard, Maryellen Fitzgerald, Sherri Peterson, Wendy Halal, Andrea Perrin and Christine Esposito; three brothers, David Brown, John Solomon, and Derek Solomon and many nieces, nephews, cousins and beloved friends. She was predeceased by her father, John “Chief” Solomon, a brother, Duane “Rick” Brown and a sister, Jackylin Bastille.
Elaine received an associate’s degree in liberal arts with honors from Quinsigamond Community College. She enjoyed spending time with her loved ones and friends also a good book with some wheat barley and hops.
A calling hour will be held on Friday, November 6th from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue followed by a service.
