Obituary

Raymond R. Boucher, Sr., 86, of Leicester died Sunday, October 25th in his son’s home in Old Orchard Beach, Maine. His first wife of 41 years, Eleanor L. (Supernor) Boucher died in 1989 and his second wife of 24 years, Martha M. (Montambeault) Boucher died in 2014. He leaves a son, Raymond R. Boucher, Jr. of Old Orchard Beach, ME; two daughters, Linda D. and her husband, Ronald E. Rossi, Sr. of Worcester and Cynthia A. and her husband, Philip C. Price, Jr. of Worcester; 10 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren; a great great grandson; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Lucielle; and five brothers, Ferdinand, Albert, Regent, Lawrence and Herman.
He was born in Worcester the son of Paul and Elmire (Bourget) Boucher. Raymond was a supervisor for over 40 years with Wyman Gordon Company, retiring in 1988. He previously worked at Doctor’s Hospital. He was a member of St. Aloysius-St. Jude Church and the Leicester Knights of Columbus. Mr. Boucher enjoyed speaking French, gardening, cooking, fixing things and traveling.
His funeral is Saturday, October 31st with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Peter’s Church, 931 Main Street, Worcester (Please go directly to church). Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours are Friday, October 30th from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue.
