Obituary

Florence B. (Lauzier) Harris-Wilson, 102, of Charlton, passed away Sunday, October 25th in Southbridge Rehab Center, Southrbidge. Her husband of 60 years, Retired Charlton Assistant Fire Chief Frank R. Wilson, died in 2014.
She leaves two sons, Ralph W. Harris, Sr. and his wife Shirley of Charlton and Roger D. Harris of Oxford; a daughter, Jean M. Harris and her husband Stephen of Charlton; fourteen grandchildren; twenty eight great grandchildren; twenty three great great grandchildren; two great great great grandchildren; nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by a son, Robert F. Harris, a daughter, Barbara A. Gingras, two brothers, Andrew and Victor, and three sisters, Clara, Irene, and Evelyn.
She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Roque and Pamelia (DuVerger) Lauzier. Mrs. Wilson was a mchinist at Capitol Footwear and Parker Metals, and had been a soda jerk at Easton's. Florence was a member of St. Joseph's Church, the Senior Center, the Charlton Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, and the American Legion. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, crossword puzzles, Bingo, and playing cards.
The funeral is Thursday, October 29th with a service at 10:00 A.M. in O'CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours are Wednesday, October 28th from 4:00 until 7:00 P.M. in the funeral home.
