Obituary

SPENCER: Edward F. Boulanger 59, of No. Spencer Rd., died Saturday, Oct. 24 in St. Vincent's Hospital, Worcester.
He leaves his son Edward F. Boulanger, II of Spencer and his fiance Heather Ducimo of Worcester, a nephew Kyle Derosier of Palm Springs, Calif., his aunt Betty Madelle of Spencer, cousins Tracy Cruz of Southbridge, Nancy Madelle of Charlton, Phyllis Deustch of Wisc., John Madelle of Brookfield and Marilyn Eismere of Worcester. He is predeceased by his brother Franklin Boulanger in 2009.
Born in Southbridge, the son of the late Edward J. and Doris M. (Madelle) Boulanger, he later graduated from David Prouty High School in Spencer. He was a machinist at Coppus Engineering in Worcester until his retirement in 2007. He was a member of Mary, Queen of the Rosary Parish. Ed loved fishing and hunting, the New England Patriots and Red Sox. He volunteered helping out the elderly at Howe Village and Astorwood retirement communities.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Oct. 29 at 11 a.m. in the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A calling hour will precede the service on Thursday from 10 to 11am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mary, Queen of the Rosary Food Pantry, 60 Maple St., Spencer, Ma. 01562.
