Plymouth, MA – Wildamae Olson (Gibson), age 88, passed away October 7, peacefully at home.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, three sons, three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.She is a 1948 graduate of St. Luke’s Hospital School of Nursing, New York City. She worked in various hospitals in New Jersey and New York.After retirement she worked as a docent in the Genesee Country Village and Museum, Mumford, NY. The wedding dress she made for her wedding is now part of theMuseum’s collection. A movie, Dreams of Euality, was filmed at the Museum and she was an actress in that movie. She also volunteered as a docent in Heritage Village in Largo, FL and most recently in the guest relations department of Plimoth Plantation. Wildamae was an award-winning member of The Embroidery’s Guild of America. A memorial service honoring her life will be conducted Saturday, Oct. 24, 11:00 am at the Chiltonville Congregational Church, Plymouth,
