Jon-Joseph "J.J." LaFlamme, 25, of New Bedford passed away Wednesday September 30, 2015.
Born in New Bedford, the son of Karen M. (Duggan) LaFlamme, he had lived in New Bedford and Plymouth.
J.J. was an avid skateboarder, loved to dance and shoot pool, and belonged to area shuffle teams. He was always available for everybody and anybody at any time, and loved to eat and laugh.
Survivors include his mother; his brothers, Nicholas W. LaFlamme of North Smithfield, RI, and Joseph Beauregard of Fall River; his grandmother, Jeanne Duggan of Acushnet; his Godparents, Ann Marie and Michael Florio of Mattapoisett, his special aunt and uncle, James and Betty Duggan of New Bedford; his special cousins, Matthew Duggan of New Bedford, Mikayla Florio of Mattapoisett, and Katelyn Lash and her husband David of Northboro; and his many friends.
He was the grandson of the late William F. Duggan.
His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday October 16, 2015 at 10 AM at St. Francis Xavier Church, Acushnet. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. Visiting hours are omitted. Arrangements are by the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford.
