Augusta, GA---Mrs. Mary Cadden Spivey went home to be with Jesus, on Tuesday, October 6, 2015.
Graveside services will be held, on her 87th birthday, Saturday, October 10, 2015 at 2:00 pm, at West View Cemetery, with Reverend Sherrell Dunn officiating. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery. The family will greet friends following the service.
She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother, precious saint of the Lord, and a dear friend through the years to many. She was known for her sense of humor and sweet spirit. Mrs. Spivey had been a longtime member of Curtis Baptist Church and was a former member of Lake Park Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir for many years.
She was married to Robert C. Spivey, for 67 years. Mr. Spivey preceded her in death last year.
Survivors include, her four children, Bob (Linda) Spivey, Kissimmee, FL, Gayle Spivey (CW) Price, Jacksonville, FL, Steve (Lauren) Spivey, Sr., Augusta, GA, Paul (Dee Dee) Spivey, Winter Park, FL and her grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
