Joan D. (Gregoire) Gavin, 83, of Worcester, passed away Monday, September 28th in UMass-Memorial Hospital. She leaves her husband of 44 years, William G. Gavin; two nephews, Phil Brown of Worcester and Thomas Reid of Rhode Island; three grandnephews, Robert and Michael Brown of Worcester and Nicholas Reid of Rhode Island. Her son, Norman Comeau, passed away in 1980. She was also predeceased by her sister, Marilyn Brown.
She was born in Barre, the daughter of Arthur and Irene (Lebelle) Gregoire and lived in Worcester for many years.
A graveside service for Joan will be held Monday, October 5th at 1:00 P.M. in Notre Dame Cemetery, 162 Webster Street. There are no calling hours. O'CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, is assisting with arrangements.
