WEBSTER – Joseph F. Leonetti, 86, formerly of Webster, died Thursday, September 24, 2015 in the Maine Medical Center in Portland Maine. His wife of 56 years, Margaret F. (Mansfield) Leonetti died in 2008.
He leaves a son, James J. and his wife Beth A. Leonetti of Old Orchard Beach, ME; 1 nephew and nieces. He was preceded in death by his son, Paul F. Leonetti in 2005, and by his brother, Samuel Leo and his sister, Malle Stasko.
He was born and raised in Webster, a son of Francis and Mildred (D’Andrea) Leonetti. He was a graduate of Bartlett High School class of 1947 and was the catcher for the varsity baseball team.
Mr. Leonetti was a meter reader and a hot water tank installer for Massachusetts Electric Co., retiring in 1989.
He was an avid gardener who in his retirement enjoyed playing golf at the Woodstock Country Club.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 28, at 11:00 AM in Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main St., Webster. A calling period will be from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. on Monday Sept., 28 in the funeral home.
