Maria K. Tucker, of Wilmington passed away September 14, 2015 at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston at the age of 26. Born in Stoneham she was the cherished daughter of Edward B. and Marie E. (Pantone) Tucker of Wilmington.

Maria was raised and educated in Wilmington and was a 2007 graduate of Wilmington High School. As a young girl Maria was always very active in youth sports and continued playing softball and hockey through her high school years. In her senior year she was the team Captain of the Girl's Hockey Team. Maria was currently continuing her education and was a student at Bunker Hill Community College. Maria enjoyed listening to music, working on the computer and staying in touch with her friends through social media. However, Maria's greatest joy was her family. She loved family get together for special occasions and during the holidays. She especially enjoyed spending time with her little cousins, whom she adored. Maria will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends.

Maria is survived by her beloved parents; Edward and Marie Tucker. She is also survived by her loving and devoted brothers; Edward Tucker, Jr. and Joseph Tucker, both of Wilmington. She was the cherished granddaughter of Mary Pantone of Charlestown, the late Salvatore Pantone, Henry and Sheila Tucker. She is further survived by her aunts and uncles; Anthony Pantone of Malden, Joseph and Patty Pantone of Malden, Sonny and Joanne Tucker of Maryland, Michelle and James Honohan of Revere, James and Marybeth Tucker of Charlestown, Michael and Lisa Tucker of Revere, Kelly Tucker and Jill Doherty of Charlestown, Sheila and Billy Byrne, and Daniel Tucker, all of Wilmington. Also survived by many loving cousins, extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be held from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 374 Main St., WILMINGTON, Monday, September 21st, at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Thomas of Villanova Church, 126 Middlesex Ave, Wilmington, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours at the Dello Russo Funeral Home are Sunday from 4 thru 8 p.m. Services will conclude with burial at Wildwood Cemetery, Wilmington. It has been requested that in lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Maria's memory to the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America, N.E. Chapter, 109 Highland Ave. Needham, MA 02494.
