SUTTON-Gail L. Sargent, of Sutton, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, September 12, 2015. She is survived by three children; Theodore W. Sargent, Jr. and his wife Pamela of Sutton, Thea D. Lambert and her husband Thomas Brock of Port Richey, FL and Linda G. Filewicz and her husband Robert Mitchell of Worcester; her sister Lorna Chaput and her husband Ernest of Oxford; 10 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by three brothers, Donald, Earl and Richard Swenson and five sisters, Ruth Chaput, Claire Hisoire, May-Britt Quinn, Pearl Bissonette and Anna Faulkner.
She was born in Worcester, daughter of Ernest and Anna (Nordstrom) Swenson and graduated from Commerce High School. Gail worked for the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health for over 30 years before retiring. She loved to travel and enjoyed crocheting.
Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, September 19 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at LINDQUIST LUNDIN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Butler Street, Worcester. Burial will be private.
