WORCESTER-Gertrude F. (Paula) Anderson, 89, passed away on Tuesday, September 8th in St. Vincent Hospital. Gertrude’s husband, Roger E. Anderson passed away in 1993. She leaves her son, Gary J. Anderson and two grandchildren, Jonathan and Derek. She also leaves her brother, Arthur Paula of Campton, NH; three sisters, Evelyn Coggans and Florence (Ginger) McKinnon, wife of Thomas F. McKinnon, both of Worcester and Geraldine Hicks of Sutton and several nieces and nephews.
Gertrude was born in Worcester March 19, 1926 the daughter of Arthur and Florence (Latendress) Paula. She worked for 30 years as a tool room clerk at Lundquist Tool Mfg. in Worcester and retired in 1988. She was a longtime member of the former St. Catherine of Sweden Church, now Sacred Heart-St. Catherine of Sweden Church.
A visiting hour will be held on Monday, September 14th from 9:30 to 10:30 am at LINDQUIST LUNDIN Funeral Home, 36 Butler St. followed by a funeral Mass at 11:00 am at Sacred Heart-St. Catherine of Sweden Church, 600 Cambridge St. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery.
