Millbury-Robert J. Smith, 85, of Millbury passed away at home on Monday, September 7.
He leaves his beloved wife, Joan O. (LeBlanc) Smith; five daughters, Marguerite Gannon and her husband, Donald, Sharon Theoharides, Joanne Enegess and her husband, Barry, Melissa Smith and her husband, Dennis Todd, Roberta Gale and her husband, William; a son, Stephen Smith and his wife, Michelle; twelve grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother, Joseph Smith, a sister, Geraldine Adams and a son-in-law, Anthony Theoharides. He was born in Worcester, son of Joseph and Margaret (Quinn) Smith. He served four years in the United State Marine Corp. as a Sergeant in a Tank Division during the Korean War.
Robert was a master plumber, he owned and operated Robert J. Smith Plumbing and Heating for 24 years. He was a member of the Korean War Veterans Association and the Ramshorn Pond Improvement Association.

A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, September 12, at 10am in Saint Mark's Church, 356 Boston Road, Sutton. Burial will be private. Arrangements in the care of CALLAHAN~FAY~CASWELL Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle Street, Worcester.
