Obituary

Worcester/Holden: Nancy R. (Farber) Mula, 61, passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2015 in Rose Monahan Hospice House. She leaves her son, Brandon Mula; her former husband Rosario "Butch" Mula; her father George Farber; 2 brothers- Gary and Craig Farber; a sister- Janice Michel; many nieces, nephews, friends, including Gail Rocheford; and her beloved dog, Lady. She was predeceased by a son Timothy and her mother Eleanor.

Nancy was born in Greenfield, daughter of George and Eleanor (Goldberg) Farber and graduated from Greenfield High School & North Adams State College. She worked as a program manager for Digital/HP and at the after school program for the Wachusett Recreation Dept. in Holden. She volunteered for many years at the Wachusett Food Pantry and coordinated its backpack donation project. She enjoyed crafts, especially quilting and was a member of the Material Girls Quilt Guild in Leominster.

A calling hour will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 from 10-11 a.m. in Nordgren Memorial Chapel 300 Lincoln St. Worcester. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Rural Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Nancy's memory may be made to either the Sterling Animal Shelter Inc. 17 Laurelwood Rd.
