Ronald J. "Ron" Daigle, 25 died Saturday, Aug. 15.
He leaves his mother Karin M. (Mercier) Daigle of Worcester, maternal grandfather Frank R. Mercier, Sr. and his companion Joann Montbleau of Holden, paternal grandfather Robert Daigle of Leicester, paternal grandmother Gail French of West Boylston and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was pre-deceased by his father Darin B. Daigle and his maternal grandmother Frances M. Mercier.
Ron was born in Worcester. He attended Leicester High School where he excelled on the basketball team. He was currently a student at Mount Wachusett Community College in Gardner where he was working toward his R.N. degree. He was an avid New England sports fan and especially enjoyed the New England Patriots. His biggest passion was golfing.
Ron was a sensitive, caring and compassionate young man who truly loved and valued his family. His charming personality, quick witt and infectious smile will forever be missed but never forgotten. The bond he shared with his mom was special and exceptionally rare.
The funeral will be held Thursday, Aug. 20 at 11:00 AM in St. Pius X Church, 1153 Main Street, Leicester. Please go directly to church. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice. MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main Street is directing arrangements.
