Catherine R. Reen, 87, of Worcester died Sunday, August 16th in St. Mary Healthcare Center. She leaves her husband of 60 years, Timothy Reen; two brothers, Rev. John Nicholson and James Nicholson and his wife, Lucielle of Coudersport, PA; three sisters, Margaret Menard of Framingham, Anne Marie Kiritsy and Mary Nicholson both of Worcester; a sister in law, Rhonda Nicholson of Paxton and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Donald Nicholson and a sister, Sister Anne Patrick Nicholson, SND.
She was born in Baldwinville the daughter of Patrick and Anne (MacPherson) Nicholson and graduated from Ascension High School. For many years, Catherine worked in the bookstore at Clark University.
Her funeral is Thursday, August 20th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main Street. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery. Calling hours are Wednesday, August 19th from 5:00 until 7:00 PM in the funeral home.
