WEST BOYLSTON
Charles A. Derrah, 60, of West Boylston died Friday, August 14 in UMASS MEDICAL CENTER.
He leaves a brother, Christopher J. Derrah of West Boylston; several nieces, nephews and cousins. A brother, Stephen P. Derrah and a sister, Donna M. Derrah predeceased him. He was born in Worcester, son of Donald C. and Stephanie T. (Kobis) Derrah and graduated from Saint Mary’s High School and Worcester Boys Trade in Worcester.
Charles was a self-employed carpenter for many years and had a great love of woodworking. He cherished his dogs and enjoyed following the Boston Bruins.
Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, August 29 from 10:00 - 11:30 a.m. at FAY BROTHERS Funeral Home, 1 West Boylston Street, W. Boyston followed by a Funeral Mass at Noon at St. Christopher's Church, 950 W. Boylston Street, Worcester. Burial will be held at a later date.
