Obituary

In Raynham, August 12, 2015 Raymond H. Sypher, Age 87, passed away at home suddenly following a period of failing health. Raymond is survived by his loving wife Joan (Joncas) Sypher of Raynham. He was born in Taunton, the son of the late Edward & Lillian (Wood) Sypher. Raymond was educated in Taunton Schools. He served his country during the Korean War in the U. S. Army. He was employed for the Haskon Company in Taunton. Raymond resided in Raynham since 1957. He was a member of the American Legion in Raynham. Raymond enjoyed wild blueberrying, was an avid Bruins and Patriots fan and above all cherished his time with family. In addition to his wife Raymond leaves his two children Timothy Sypher of Raynham and Michele Graham and her husband Jon of Raynham. His grandchildren Kaitlyn Graham and Annabelle Sypher both of Raynham. He also leaves his sister Dorothy Macleod of Maine and his late siblings Edward, Hugh and Russell Sypher, Pearl Raymond and Betty Fermano. Funeral from the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, MA 02780 on Monday August 17th at 8:30 am. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Ann’s Church in Raynham at 9:30 am. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Sunday from 3-6 pm. Burial will be at the Bourne National Cemetery at 11:15 am.
