Worcester, Fay J. (Smith) Blanchette, 63, of Worcester, died on Wednesday, August 5th in the Beaumont Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Worcester.
Fay is survived by her husband of 35 years, David H. Blanchette; a son, Sean D. Blanchette of Marshfield, MA; a daughter, Erin E. Gagnon of Worcester and 6 grandchildren. Mrs. Blanchette was born in Worcester, daughter of the late William and Mary (Barton) Smith.
She worked for many years as a school bus driver in Worcester and other surrounding towns. Fay enjoyed collecting and making jewelry as well as collecting marbles.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 17th at 12 Noon in Notre Dame Cemetery 162 Webster St. Worcester. Memorial contributions in memory of Fay may be made to a Go Fund Me account that has been set up, http://www.gofundme.com/7qb3fmm77y
