Agnes D. (Turbidy) Holly, 90, of West Yarmouth, passed away Monday, August 3rd in Mayflower Nursing Center, West Yarmouth. Her husband, Paul B. Holly, died in 1979. She leaves several cousins, nephews and nieces, including Pauline A. Turbidy of Webster and John Turbidy and his wife Connie of Phoenix, AZ. She was predeceased by a brother and two sisters, John Turbidy, Eleanor Turbidy, and Kathleen Turbidy.
She was born in Webster, the daughter of John T. and Abigail D. (Rigney) Turbidy and graduated from Oxford High School. She was a job placement coordinator for Snelling & Snelling Employment Agency for many years and had previously worked at WTAG Radio and the Worcester Telegram & Gazette. Mrs. Holly was a former member of the Worcester Advertising Club.
Family and friends may visit from 9:00 until 9:30 A.M. Friday, August 7th in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester. Her funeral Mass will follow at 10:00 A.M. in Blessed Sacrament Church, 555 Pleasant Street, Worcester. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery, Worcester. Donations in her memory may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
