BROOKFIELD: Bertina J. (Boulette) Corbett 79 of Tyler St., died Thursday, July 30 at her home following a long illness.
She leaves her son Frederick B. Corbett, III with whom she lived, three daughters Cathy Emerson and her husband Russell of Brookfield, Tina J. Huckins and her husband Francis of N.Brookfield and Sally M. Gendron and her husband Lionel of N.Brookfield, a brother Wayne Boulette and his wife Karen of N.Brookfield, 9 grandchildren; Wesley, Jeri, Russell, Kyle, Toby, Tonia, Jamie, Lance and Mindy, 8 great grandchildren; Haley, Colin, Cameron, Hannah, Carter, Morgan, Skylar and Callie, several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by a grandson Jason Lacroix and a brother Russell Boulette.
Bertina was an inspector for Quaboag Rubber, Inc. in N.Brookfield for 25 years, retiring in 1998.
Born in E.Brookfield, she was the daughter of Ernest and Bertina (Courtemanche) Boulette. She enjoyed gardening, spending time with her family and always had coffee ready for anyone who stopped by.
The family wishes to thank the nursing staff at Summit Eldercare in Charlton for their compassionate care of their mother.
Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family with burial in Walnut Grove Cemetery in No. Brookfield. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Second Chance Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 136, East Brookfield, Ma. 01515.
