In Rhode Island, July 27, 2015 Eugene G. Campbell son of the late Roy and Leah (George) Campbell died at Rhode Island Hospital at the age of 88. Born and educated in Apollo PA, Eugene was living in New Bedford since 1997 and was formerly of Taunton. He was a member of the US Navy serving during WWII and the Korean War on the USS Salem. Eugene was a retired truck driver and enjoyed watching golf and football. Eugene was the former husband of Dorothy (Parsons) Campbell of SC. He was the father of Dana Campbell of SC, Daryl Campbell of Taunton and Darcy Campbell Moniz and her husband Marco of New Bedford. Grandfather of Gage and Cora. His best friend and dog Scrappy. A graveside service will be held at the Bourne National Cemetery in Bourne MA on Thursday, August 6th at 11:15 AM.
