June M. Davis, 91

June M. (de la Feuilliez) Davis, age 91, of North Attleboro, formerly of Mansfield passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2015 at the Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph A. Davis who died on May 1, 1992.
Born in Attleboro, MA on December 6, 1923, she was a loving daughter of the late Adolphe and Etta M. (Riley) de la Feuilliez. She grew up and was educated in Attleboro.
A resident of North Attleboro for over 25 years, Mrs. Davis had been employed in the stock room at the former Sweet Manufacturing Co. in West Mansfield, prior to retiring. She had previously worked at Milady’s, a former downtown Attleboro landmark.
In her retirement years, June enjoyed volunteering her assistance at the Hillside Day Care for the Elderly in Attleboro. She loved spending time and cooking for her adoring family and friends, and will especially be remembered for her world famous apple pies. June also enjoyed listening to music, especially opera and her favorite group IL VOLO.
She was the devoted mother of the late Harry A. Davis and Linda L. Doty. She was the dear sister of the late Raymond de la Feuilliez , Charles de la Feuilliez, Barbara Sturtevant, Lorraine Williams, Bette Colson and Gloria Achin. She is survived by her cherished 9 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews, including Gloria Boss and her family of North Attleboro.
Her funeral service, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Wednesday, July 29th at 10:00 A.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main St., Mansfield. Burial will follow at the Spring Brook Cemetery in Mansfield.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, July 28th from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home.
